Are you currently accepting new patients?

Yes, Dr. Marcia Bonazzi is currently accepting new obstetric and gynaecology patients. We recommend calling our Fitzroy rooms to discuss your individual circumstances and to arrange your first appointment.

Initial obstetric consultations are typically 30–45 minutes. Follow-up antenatal appointments are around 15–20 minutes. Gynaecology consultations vary depending on the reason for your visit — please let our team know when you book so we can allocate the right amount of time.
Please bring a referral letter from your GP (required for Medicare rebates), your Medicare card, any previous ultrasound reports or pathology results, a list of current medications, and your private health insurance details if applicable.
A current GP referral is required to claim a Medicare rebate for your appointment. Referrals from GPs are valid for 12 months and from specialists for 3 months. If you don’t have a referral, you’re still welcome to attend — you’ll simply pay the full consultation fee.
Dr. Marcia Bonazzi delivers at Frances Perry House (The Royal Women’s Hospital Private) and St Vincent’s Private Hospital Melbourne. Please discuss your preferred hospital at your first appointment.
Our fees vary depending on the type and length of appointment. Our reception team will provide a full fee estimate when you call to book. We recommend reviewing your private health insurance coverage ahead of your visit.
